Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well as seeing the stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi

AM: 8:00 - 8:30. Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch around at 12:30PM.

PM: After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. Then, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong (around 5 km). Dive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel around at 18:00.

Overnight in Siem Reap


Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel for your pickup. Take in all the amazing scenery on your drive to Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eye can see. On arrival at Halong, you will board your boat to enjoy a cruise on this remarkable Bay. Take in the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder, and explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After exploring the bay, it is time to enjoy a remarkable and delicious seafood lunch. After lunch, you will visit the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, after which you can kayak or swim, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. You will return to the boat for a delectable dinner, followed by some relaxing leisure time to enjoy the amazing scenery. You can enjoy the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the evening.

Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi, or just enjoy your hearty breakfast. The boat will stop to visit the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor. Enjoy the scenery on your drive back to Hanoi, returning around 17:00, followed with free leisure time.

Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide, a countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.

Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that made by his family.  Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.

After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice.  As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Stop at another host family for foot bathing following the recipes of Muong ethnic group and relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river. Then return to Hanoi.

Have an early breakfast and get ready for your your next adventure. Around 6.30 – 7.00 am our guide and bus will meet you at your hotel you will head to Sapa. You will arrive in Sapa town around 13:00 and you will be impressed by warm atmosphere and colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic people.

Have a welcome drink and and get the brief program for the next few days. After that, you will enjoy local lunch and check in to hotel.

14.30: Start a short drive to the gate of Cat Cat village, located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. This village is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of locals, then you will trek down to the valley bottom to see the waterfall and old Hydraulic Power Station built by French. Have a stop for taking pictures of the bridge and waterfall then walk uphill, where the bus will pick you up and take you back to Sapa. The dinner will be served at 18:00.

Have breakfast at hotel, then our guide will meet you at the lobby around 8:00. Take a short drive to Y Linh Ho village, then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain, then trek to the home of Dzay ethnic people – Ta Van village.  

At 11.30 am the bus will pick you up at Ta Van Bridge and transfer back to Sapa town, where you will have lunch. 

In the afternoon enjoy free time to explore Sapa town at your own pace. The dinner will be served around 18:00.

Have breakfast at hotel and meet your guide at the lobby at 8:00 am. Start your day with a 12 km road trip up to Tram Ton and Cong Troi (Heaven Gate) where you see one of the most beautiful mountain-pass scenery of Northern Vietnam, then visit Thac Bac water-fall (Silver Water-fall) and Salmon fish farm. Then you will be transferred back to Sapa town for lunch. 

Have free time till 18:00 when dinner will be served.

After breakfast at hotel, you will start the trek up Ham Rong (Dragon’s Jaw) Mountain.

Ham Rong Botanical Garden: don't miss the lovely botanical gardens above the main square in town with their spectacular viewpoint from the top. There are fabulous views of the town and the wider landscape as well as tended gardens to visit.  This park is essentially a long cobblestone walkway to the top of Ham Rong Mountain.   It's a strenuous climb, but the panoramic vista at the top is well worth tackling all those stairs.  Along the way, there are countless potted orchids, beautiful landscaped gardens and a few really tacky statues of cartoon characters like Scooby Doo and Mickey Mouse.   One word of caution, the stone stairs could be treacherous on a rainy or misty day.

Go back to your hotel to check out and to have lunch.

16:00: It’s time to say “Good bye Sa Pa!” and drive back to Hanoi. Arrival time is 21:30.

After breakfast, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the best-preserved holy Buddhist gateways to Angkor Thom, which was built in the 12th century. Here you will visit Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Then continue to Ta Prohm, a temple in the jungles covered by trees growing out of the ruins. This temple is the place where the most impressive scenes of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider were filmed.

After lunch you will visit Hindu temples Thommanon, Chaosay Tevoda and Ta Keo: the small, attractive temples in very good condition, which were built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Then continue to Angkor Wat -  one of the “7th Wonders’ of the World” and World Heritage Site since 1992. Famous for its beauty and splendor Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. After visiting Angkor Wat you will get to the top of the Bakheng Hill for the sunset viewing. Bakheng is the first major temple been constructed in the Angkor area, this temple-mountain offers the extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat.

1. Payment Process

  • Deposit: In order to secure your spot for the tour, an amount of 100% internal-flight tickets and 10% of land service are required to pay (the amount vary based each on tour basis). The amount should be made via bank transfer or our online payment method.

After receiving the deposit of your tour, a voucher confirmation will be sent to you within 24-48 hours.

  • Final Payment: The balance of your tour will be made one month before the travel date. Payment by bank transfer or online payment is accepted.

2. Payment Type 

  • Online payment by Credit Card with ONEPAY: We accept American Express, Visa card, MasterCard and JCB card since Realistic Asia is a verified member of OnePay system. Your card information will be protected during the transaction by using the security system with OnePay. Your invoice will be created when you confirmed the booking and send you the guideline to deposit your spot.

  • By Bank Transfers: If you prefer to do the bank transfer, please contact us so we can send you the bank detail information. However, all the bank fee and foreign currency exchange have to be taken care at your end.


Realistic Asia must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:

  • 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
  • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment


  • Realistic Asia demands that all clients going on our trips hold proper personal medical insurance. If clients do not hold insurances and refuse to sign on before departure, Realistic Asia reserves the right not to carry out the trip.

      I would like to arrange a tour of cultural heritage sites around Beijing, tour of Vietnam and Japan (primarily Hiroshima and/or Nagasaki). I would like the tour to last no more than 21 days. Is this possible with you company?
