An optimal arrangement to travel between Vietnam and Cambodia for pathfinders. First, take an insight into the hidden natural beauty of scenery of Pu Luong, act as a localite with astonishing activities like water rafting or trekking. After a long retreat from the bustle, back to immense Ha Long bay with limestone rocks and the karst grottoes. Then, a nostalgic Hue is patiently awaited for your arrival with its hospitability. A farewell to Hoi An , the shining city of paper lanterns, you will go ahead to enter the city of temples. No one can deny the attraction of the world's biggest religious structure, Angkor with galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds. Your trip will end with an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the largest body of fresh water in Cambodia, Tonle Sap Lake.


Your trip begins with arrival in Vietnam. Your private driver will meet and greet you at the airport. You will be escorted to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel and have a rest after the flight. Remaining part of the day is at your leisure.

Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide, a countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.

Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.

After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Stop at another host family for foot bathing following the recipes of Muong ethnic group and relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river. Later, enjoy a transfer from Ba Vi to your accommodation in Hanoi

You enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve by road via a breathtaking mountain pass giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. You arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting. PM: You will be transfer to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes. Arriving at a local fisherman’s house, you have a short rest to gear up for the bamboo river rafting with Dinh and his team. Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, in between learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts.

Arriving at scenic Tan Lap Bridge, you disembark to be transferred back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.

Start early to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you walk around tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain.Your camera will not be able to sit still! Continuing to the base of the valley, you weave between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. Savour the ever-changing scenery as you trek to a beautiful spot to enjoy a simple picnic lunch.

After enjoying delicious food, you have free time to explore the refreshing water to the nearby river, before moving to our pick up point to be transferred back to the Retreat.

You have the chance to get close to village life and interact with locals living in the hills above the Retreat. Glimpse at daily life, walk around working farmland and rice fields, and learn about making weaving colourful textiles, followed by lunch at the Lodge.

Breakfast at the hotel. Get pick-up by the Cruise team around 7:30 am. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and transferred back to Hanoi. In the evening our driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the airport Noi Bai then take flight to Hue. Arrival in Hue, pick up only by driver. Transfer then check in in Hue.

In the morning you will arrive in Hue. Your guide and driver will meet you at the station and you will start your Hue exploration.

Start your trip with the exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen Dynasty, which was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. There you will visit The Royal Antiques Museum, one of the first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal antiques are displayed here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal belongings of the Emperor family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the best place for cultural gifts and souvenirs.

In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such as Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style, and Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at the Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and the Incense stick making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses. Then head to your hotel in Hue.

04:30 am – 05:00 am: Our team meets you at your hotel. Drive toward the An Truyen village. On arrival, visit the early morning market at the lagoon. Following, you will embark the motor sampan to see the sunrise on the lagoon and learn about the local floating life. You will be visiting to a family farm, where you could learn how to catch fish in the very unique way. Snap couple nice shots of the sunrise over the lagoon before stopping by a local restaurant in the village market, to enjoy some tea/coffee and a very local tasty breakfast. Back to the hotel around 07:30-08:00 am. End the adventure.

After getting ready for the 3 hours trip from Hue to Hoi An by private vehicle.

Upon arrival you will have free time. You could spend time at the beach or to explore this romantic and charming town. We recommend you to have a walk around the Hoi An in the evening, when the Old Town in Hoi An transforms into a mystical row of lights and lanterns.

Today your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to a tour of the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also take a paddleboat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise.

In the afternoon, leisure time on your own exploring the ancient town or relaxing at the hotel.

Breakfast at hotel: Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

Breakfast at hotel: drive to Chrieve village to admire the local life of people - Taking oxcart riding tour is a great way to see authentic Cambodia, meet a lot of encounters and interact local people by visiting their home gardens. Learn their ways of life, Cambodia culture, help them with vegetable gardening, take as many as photos you like and enjoy seasonal fruits at a village houses. Afternoon, we will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of day visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.

  • Deposit: In order to secure your spot for the tour, an amount of 100% internal-flight tickets and 10% of land service are required to pay (the amount vary based each on tour basis). The amount should be made via bank transfer or our online payment method.

After receiving the deposit of your tour, a voucher confirmation will be sent to you within 24-48 hours.

  • Final Payment: The balance of your tour will be made one month before the travel date. Payment by bank transfer or online payment is accepted.

Realistic Asia must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:

  • 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
  • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment
